This half apron is a clever way to add extra pockets to any outfit. Just think how happy you will be as you reach down for what you need, and find it close to hand, organized and safely stored in your wonderfully colorful pockets. Doesn't that make you smile? You are going to love this waist apron! Vendor apron, teacher apron, waitress or server apron, or handy craft or utility pocket apron, how will you use yours?

I have made literally thousands of these aprons over the years. Now I am going to teach you how to make your very own. This downloadable pdf pattern includes 27 pages of step by step instructions and over 65 visual aid pictures to help you make your very own six pocket apron.

FEATURES - 6 useful pockets
- A central zipper pocket with a pouch pocket behind it.
- Two smaller pockets on either side.
- The apron has a long strap which can be tied around your waist, in front or behind you.
- The seams are enclosed and the pockets are lined.
- The apron is lightly padded for a soft but stable feel, to reinforce the pocket seams and to provide a soft layer between you and your apron contents.

DIMENSIONS
17 3/4 inches (45 cm) x 11 1/4 inches (29 cm)
The waist strap is 84 inches from end to end. It can be tied around your waist, in front or behind you. Instructions are included if you want a longer or shorter strap.

IMPORTANT: As this apron is made from rectangles, the pattern and tutorial include dimensions for pieces to cut, there are no paper pattern pieces. Don't worry there is no guesswork. I give you detailed instructions for lining up your pieces, for a quick cut using the least amount of fabric possible. You can use a pen, ruler and scissors but this is so much easier if you have a cutting mat with inch or cm squares, a cutting ruler and a rotary cutter.

PLEASE NOTE: You can make and sell any item you personally make from this pattern. The pattern itself, notes, pictures and content are owned by Tracey Lipman, copyright protected and cannot be shared in any form.

MATERIALS NEEDED TO MAKE ONE APRON
• APRON POCKETS
¼ yard 44” wide quilting weight cotton fabric
(Yes you can use a fat quarter if you cut carefully)
• POCKET LINING
¼ yard 44” wide quilting weight cotton fabric
(Yes you can use a fat quarter if you cut carefully)
• APRON BODY AND STRAP
¾ yard 44” wide quilting weight cotton fabric
For those using metric measurements – you will need exactly ½ a meter
I suggest using a non directional print for your apron strap
• INTERFACING
½ yard of fusible fleece
(or 1 piece 18” x 11.5” (46 cm x 29 cm)
• 1 x zipper at least 10” long. I find it easier to use a 12” zipper and then cut the ends to size after it has been sewn.
• Coordinating thread
• Optional ¾” (20mm) swivel hook for your key fob attachment
